This is a low impact move for the Indians but looking back on Delabar’s career could show this could be an underrated signing if he’s able to sign on with the big league club. His ERA has been upwards of 4 over the past three seasons but in 2013 he was very impressive over 55 games posting a 3.22 ERA. They are by no means getting a top tier bullpen arm, but Steve Delabar could still have some gas left in the tank and be a viable piece to this team’s bullpen. If not, he will hang out in the minors with no harm done to the big league squad.
