Blue Jays Showing Interest in Curtis Granderson

The Blue Jays seem to be in the market for just about everything this offseason as they have been linked with players such as Carlos Beltran, Dexter Fowler, Jay Bruce and now Curtis Granderson. With the likely departures of Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista, they are looking at every angle to gain an edge in the power department. Granderson or Bruce may just be the perfect fit as the Mets have a surplus of outfielders. The only tricky part at this juncture would be what the Blue Jays could offer the Mets that would force their hand. Any way you look at it, it seems as if the Blue Jays will land an outfielder this offseason, stay tuned  to find out who the lucky winner will be.

If Granderson is added to the lineup of the Blue Jays, let us take a look at what they could put on the lineup card for Opening Day:

Player Position
Devon Travis 2B
Troy Tulowitzki SS
Josh Donaldson 3B
Kendrys Morales DH
Russell Martin C
Curtis Granderson RF
Justin Smoak 1B
Kevin Pillar CF
Melvin Upton Jr. LF

    • I feel Carrera would be better suited off the bench in an utility role. However, he has shown the potential to be an everyday player. It will be interesting to see how this plays the rest of the offseason.
